Kevin Porter - Hardtop Suzuki Sierra with all the good bits!

Kevin made contact with us not long ago, bought a few items off us and sent through a bunch of pics of his rad little sierra. There are a few staff here at 4H who are also sierra owners, we know how good they are especially when they outdrive Patrol's.

Here's Kevin's write up on the modications he has made to get this zook up to the task for his needs.

"My Suzuki  has the following modifications done to it, the lockers and reduction gears I put in myself, I made the roof rack, rock sliders, and the drawers in the back, I have a set of Climax hangers to go on but it was a toss up between extended shockies and tyres, tyres won.
My 1995 Suzuki has been set up for highway cruising and medium grade club trips
!.6 litre EFI Vitara engine.
Computerised Gas Injection with a 65 Litre tank which takes up a fair bit of room in the back, hence the alloy drawer set up.
2" Exhaust system with extractors
4.16 Rock Crawler reduction gears
Power steering out of a Jimny
Lockright lockers front &  back
31" Hankook MT tyres
2" Spring lift.
1 3/8" Body Lift( this was because top of motor was touching the bonnet in one spot)
Alloy roof rack plus long handled shovel.
Headlights 130 x 90 watt
Aircraft landing sealed beams as driving lights.
Air conditioning (rare)
Tinted windows
Garmin 72GPS dash mounted
Cannon camcorder with 150 inverter
I have disc rear brake conversion ready to be fitted.

When I tow our caravan which weighs about 700 kg I use standard road tyres, usually we can chuff along at about 80 ks quite easily.
We are taking the caravan to Mudgee in 3 weeks time for their clubkarna.

I have also included a photo of my alloy trailer, which looks great behind the Suzuki.
I am a retired boily, just potter in alloy in my spare time. "
