The NEW Mako TDS 9500lb
Our new range of winches are rope friendly, with an automatic double tapered cone brake on the end of the gearbox there is no heat build-up in the drum like usual in-the-drum-brakes. With this and the highly water resistant features and design the new TDS series are the fastest growing winch in the world.
Features
A Powerful, reliable, high quality, heavy duty series wound motors, sealed solenoids, 3 stage planetary gearboxs, rotating ring gear clutch with super easy freespool levers. Automatic external double tapered brake on the end of the gearbox – ideal for the use of synthetic ropes as there is no heat build up by usuall in-drum brakes. The Mako TDS 9.5 has a ratio of 173:1 to offer fast line speed making them ideal for off road use whilst the Mako TDS 12.0 offers a ratio of 254:1 and the massive torque and brute force of the Mako TDS 16.5 - 315:1.
Both drum supports are not only sealed, on all models accommodate ‘V-ring’ seals bearing onto the drum flanges to help stop the ingress of mud and water. All TDS Mako winches come with a 5m handset, heavy duty snatch block, roller fairlead, handsaver strap and mounting hardware.
Avenger’s TDS Mako series feature specially manufactured sealed motor drum supports which are exclusive to our TDS series along with V Ring seals on both sides of the drum to help prevent the ingress of mud and water. With these extra waterproofing features, the TDS Mako series is the best featured and value for money winch in the world. It also has a low amp draw meaning your electrical system stay in good shape for longer.
As you can see above the left hand picture shows a fully sealed motor drum support exclusive to the TDS range.
Our new TDS series winches are built to the highest specifications with strict quality control measures, each individual winch has its own unique serial number for registration.
