The VCR System is a fully automatic split-charging relay.
Fully managed split charging ensures that the engine's cranking batteries are replenished before auxiliary batteries are recharged. The relay remains open (off) until the engine start battery reaches a preset voltage of 13.4V, then closes (on) to allow charging of the auxiliary battery.
When the engine is switched off, the VCR will open (turn off) to ensure that appliances drawing power from the auxiliary battery are isolated from the engine battery.
